He went ahead and built, the town on the swampland
that he and the preacher man agreed to
He laid foundations, that he crafted by hand
but gave them only sand to sink into

He made the next one, on the edges of the seas
hoping they would all agree
they soon discovered, that a vacuum cannot be

When the wall fell, the first one of the day
he found that he could look away
And then the second failed, from the pestilence and plague
as his blindness was assuaged

sadly weakened by the rain
